Editorial Design:
Vaporwave Magazine

This magazine design embraces the subculture of the vaporwave music genre, which is described as a “microgenre of electronic music” and is defined by its nine visual motifs in relation to its music. One of the characteristics of vaporwave is obsolescent design, so this magazine’s concept was created using that characteristic, pushing the aesthetic of older computer software. As you go along, the spreads get more and more hectic until they finally crash into the “blue screen of death.”
